Easter is a holiday that kids everywhere look forward to every year. Why not make their day even more fun with easy and fun crafts that they can do? This will let them have fun and will give you some great decorations for your home. Do these as a family and your Easter will be even better.
One craft that all kids will love are the cotton ball chick crafts. You will need to have yellow pom-poms or yellow cotton balls, half of a clean egg shell, small piece of orange craft foam in the shape of a triangle, goggle eyes, scissors, white craft glue, wood doll base (these are the kind used with clothespins), pastel colored craft paint and paintbrushes.
Now here is how you will make this project. The first thing you want to do is to paint the doll base and set it aside so it can dry. Make sure the eggshells are dry and clean. Then glue the pom-poms inside of each egg shell. Take the orange triangle for the beak and glue it on. Then glue on the top yellow pom-pom. Glue the google eyes so they are above the beak and then glue the doll base to the egg shell.
A second craft kids will enjoy is the bunny rabbit ears. You will need to have a strip of paper that will fit around the child's head and tape it together. You want to either draw the bunny ears or get a template for them. Then cut out the ears and color them. Tape the ears onto the strip and tape the strip into a loop so that it fits on the kids head. These two crafts will make Easter even more fun and memorable for kids everywhere.
